From the Ponderosa Motor Inn, head south on Hw1 Frontage Rd toward 12 st N. Turn right to stay on Hwy 1 Frontage Rd and turn left at the 1st cross street onto TCH. Turn right onto BC-95 S and head downhill to the 93/96 intersection, turn right and follow 96/95 through Golden. Cross two small bridges over the Kicking Horse, go through the "S" corner near the laundromat and theater, and take the first left at the traffic signal. Continue past the College of the Rockies to the seniors' center on your left. If you reach a curve, you've gone too far.
